![]() I set the compressoin to 0, just to be sure it starts at all, and use an icon file at 80x80 (I seem to recall later firmware complains if you use any other resolution for the eboot icon). Now, I assume I ripped it correctly, because when I burned a new disk from that image I was able to load it on my original playstation just fine (using that old classic, a Gameshark Pro). I tried an ISO, but imgburn reported numerous errors and timed out, so I had to switch to bin just to get a working file. In more detail, I rip my own PS1 games as I did back then. I made sure to get the proper base.pbp file, but after I complete the conversion and copy it over, the program fails to boot. Full disclosure, I used PSX2PSP back in the day and that's what I'm using now, but the original machine I was creating the eboots with isn't around any more, so I had to redownload the software. However, I'm having a lot of trouble creating new eboots. I've updated to 6.61 custom firmware and found my old PS1 games I put in still seemed to run fine (at least, they start up). ![]() ![]() gee willickers a decade now?! How did THAT happen?Īnyway, recently I've gotten back into playing my PSP. I'm new here, though I've been using custom firmware for. ![]()
